What’s the Angle on Posing

Lots of people say “I never look good in photos”. We all have a friend where we think, “she always looks great in her shots.” Well, how you position yourself when you appear in a photo can be the difference between being self conscious and have memories to last a lifetime.

You may look at a professional photo of a gorgeous model on pont Alexandre III like the one above and say to yourself…

Isn’t that model beautiful. She is so elegant. But!

The full truth is that she has learnt the art of posing herself to bring the most out of the image she portrays.

to maximise the triangles that you create with your body. Avoiding creating visual straight lines is less flattering and comes across as weak. Standing straight or having your arms straight by your side looks plain and makes your body look less slimming. Along with standing evenly on both feet.

I'm a professional Photographer with a unquenchable passion for both photography and Paris. I have over 35 years of experience and I have taken hundreds of thousands of photos all over the world, but Paris is my passion for over 20 years.
